Intervention

We Deliver Four Diverse Types of Support

Placement Support

Placement Support promotes the stability and success of placements for young people by equipping foster and kinship carers and residential providers with essential skills, strategies, and psychoeducation. Our primary focus is to address the Child Protection concerns to enhance safety within placements, fostering long-term stability and nurturing strong, positive relationships to ensure lasting success.

In-Home Support

In-Home Support increases the capacity for the primary carer to address the child protection concerns for children and sustain a safe placement. It offers trauma-informed, hands-on support in the home, and coordination of collaborative stakeholder engagement. The service operates under direction from Child Safety to ensure safety, stability, or reunification, without needing specific client consent.

Transition To Adulthood

Transitional Support empowers young people to thrive as they transition into adulthood and independence. The Arches Foundation strengthens their confidence, equipping them to safely meet their own needs and lead safe, fulfilling lives within the community after leaving care.

Assertive Outreach

Assertive Outreach supports stability by offering crucial assistance through observations and direct engagement with young people in unapproved or potentially unsafe environments. This support meets them where they are, amplifying their voices in goal-setting and personal development.

Client-Centred Approach

Client-centred with flexibility to meet the needs of each individual and placement dynamic.

360 Review of Needs

Provision of Care Clinics or discussions for external agencies. A 360 review of the placement support needs to up-skill the team and provide a road map.

Residential

We offer comprehensive support for community residential or community services that care for young people long-term. Our focus is on enhancing organisational and team capabilities to deliver effective therapeutic support, ensuring a sustainably nurturing environment for young people in residential placements.
